“Having experienced living in a country without any care homes, I was inspired in 2005 to create a home care service which could provide an alternative to residential & nursing care. Through organic growth and with a reputation for providing high quality, personable care – our services have expanded to neighbouring counties.
“I set up with the view of providing the best home care services, reaching out to those members of the community who need a little extra support. Offering everything from a short 30 minute home care visit to live-in & 24 hour care and assistance, in order to enable our customers to remain independent whilst enjoying the comfort and privacy of their own homes.
“I am proud that I have personally trained all my branch managers, many who have progressed from being carers themselves or have needed care for a loved one. It’s incredibly important to me that they understand that that it’s an honour for us to be allowed to provide such an intimate service to our customers.”
Thanks for taking time to learn about us!
Kay Morley-Cooper, Founder & Director, Care 1st Home Care.
We’re proud to offer home care services across the following counties and surrounding areas:
Our prime objective is to provide both a visiting home care and live-in home care service, which respects and understand value of peoples lives, provides them dignity, regardless of circumstance, by respecting their unique personal care needs and supporting them to live independently in the home that they know and love.
We listen carefully to our customers, understand their needs and take a caring approach, which requires the utmost dedication and professionalism. Our carers are chosen for our Register for their unique personalities, their kindness, compassion and patience – we follow a comprehensive & detailed interview process to ascertain their suitability and reliability. Our carers are then expertly trained in-house, and mentored by our care managers. We are proud to be a fully managed home care service, registered with CQC, Local Authorities and NHS commissioning groups.
We are incredibly proud of our teams in Bristol who have achieved a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC, and our Berkshire branch that has received ‘an Outstanding’ report.
